Fashionest hit the streets to interview a handful of stylish 2017 grads to see what their future holds and how they plan to style their next adventures.
GRADUATE: JESSICA G. – ARIZONA
When I was little, I wanted to be: a veterinarian
Spirit Animal: a tiger due to its boldness and colorful self

University attending: Northern Arizona University
Major: Undecided, Exploratory
Plans after graduation: Get married, travel the world, then settle in a smaller house by the water with kids and a gray Vizsla.
How would you describe your style? Boho - laid back with a bit of hipster.
2017 fashion or accessory trend you love to rock: Chokers and Birkenstocks
How do you see your style evolving? When I head to college in the fall, I see my style being similar but a bit more careless and comfortably cute. I’m transferring to a cooler climate so I’ll have to adjust to that, too.
What’s your favorite Fashionest jewelry item & why? My favorite piece of jewelry is the House Of Harlow 1960 Sama Bolo Tie Necklace because it is a vintage-looking piece that can add style to any outfit.
How do you plan to style it? I will wear it with any simple outfit to add some boho flair.
GRADUATE: ALYSSIA N. – CALIFORNIA
When I was little, I wanted to be a: hair dresser

Plans after graduation: I plan to travel to Europe and then move back home and find a job.
How would you describe your style? My style is casual yet glamorous. Comfort is a must but I also love dressing up and looking good when I go out.
2017 fashion or accessory trend you love to rock: denim on denim
How do you see your style evolving as you transition to this new phase? I see my style becoming more chic and put together.
What’s your favorite Fashionest jewelry item & why? The Bellatrix Choker, because it goes with a lot of the clothes I wear for concerts and festivals.
How do you plan to style it? I plan to style this with a cute romper or bodysuit.
GRADUATE: Emily P. – CHICAGO
When I was little, I wanted to be: a meteorologist
Spirit animal: a jaguar
Guilty pleasure: Watching reality TV

University attending: University of Chicago
Plans after graduation: I'll be moving back to the East Coast where I'm from but I don't know what I'll be doing quite yet!
How would you describe your style? My style is definitely more edgy and very trendy. I search for the most unique pieces I can find when I shop, and I balance this out with more simple/minimalist jewelry.
2017 fashion or accessory trend you love to rock: Loving the mesh/see-through trend! I bought two mesh shirts already this season.
How do you see your style evolving as you transition to this new phase? My style is definitely at a crossroads right now. I've been known to rock bright colors and crazy prints. While I still love both those things, I'm trying to wear more subdued colors and structured, mature silhouettes as I transition to post-college life.
What’s your favorite Fashionest jewelry item & why? The Francesca earrings. They can be dressed up or down and instantly add a touch of elegance to any ensemble.
How do you plan to style it? Planning to wear them with my graduation dress! I chose a simple dress so I can be jazzy with accessories.
GRADUATE: HAYLEY L. – TEXAS
When I was little, I wanted to be: a model (and still do)!
Spirit animal: giraffe. Everyone called me a giraffe in high-school because of my height. Giraffes seem pretty chill most of the time, and I'd like to think I am too!
Guilty pleasure: binge watching Netflix and eating ice-cream with sprinkles!

University attending: Texas A&M University - Texarkana and will graduate in December of 2017
Major: Early Childhood Education
Plans after graduation: So far, I'm not entirely sure what my plans are after graduation. I'd like to start teaching as soon as I can, and begin to work on a business as an interior decorator.
How would you describe your style? My style truly depends on my mood, but most of the time I have a boho/ laid back style. I stick to classy looks when going out though!
2017 fashion or accessory trend you love to rock: I LOVE rocking tassels! They are so in right now and if I see something with tassels on it, I WANT IT!!
How do you see your style evolving as you transition to this new phase? Though I've always loved tassels, I'll definitely be incorporating them more into my closet!
Favorite Fashionest Jewelry piece: Sharp Nin9 Florid Stud Earrings. This type of jewelry is so in style. They have the "big chunky jewelry" effect, yet they are so dainty!
How do you plan to style it? I will style my earrings with my hair half up, with a dainty gold necklace to match!
